I finished The Well of Loneliness. It was really, really good, and really depressing. But mostly good.

So now I need another book to read for Pop Lit, and all the books I can think of are books that the library doesn't have or that I've already read. Suggestions, plz? What are some really good books that you all have read lately? (they don't have to be fiction.)

Default suggestions:
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (which is really philosophically dense in places and probably not a good idea to read for class but an excellent book)
Anything at all by Neil Gaiman (in particular, American Gods, Anansi Boys, Neverwhere, or Good Omens)
Jumper, by Steven Gould (Do not let the movie fool you; the book is excellent.)
Exile's Honor, by Mercedes Lackey (if you like fantasy)
Fire Rose, by Mercedes Lackey

These are all things I own and can therefore lend you, but also the library will have several of them

Perfect by Natasha Friend was a good book.
Happy Birthday, or Whatever by Annie Choi (I think? That might be the brand of the 10 minute pad thai i eat...) was funny. :]
The Accidental Mother by Rowan Coleman was fan. tas. tic.
